Ganga Cleaning Project
Kanpur Metro Rail
KANPUR:The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) is the implementation wing of National Ganga Council. Ganga Basin Authority has approved Ganga cleaning project submitted by the Kanpur Jal Nigam. Namami Gange Programme, an integrated conservation mission, was approved as the flagship programme by the government.
Kanpur Metro is an under construction rail based mass transit system in the city of Kanpur, India which shall further be extendable to Kanpur Metropolitan Area. Kanpur is the largest city in Uttar Pradesh followed by Lucknow. Japan International Cooperation Agency and European Investment Bank will provide loan to Kanpur Metro project.
